The making of mirror images of a laptop computer's hard drive in order to execute forensic tests pursuant to a search warrant does not amount to a search and seizure of the entire computer, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut has ruled. United States v. Triumph Capital Group Inc., D. Conn., No. CRIM 3:00CR217IEBB, 11/4/02.
