An attorney asks...

"My client has been using Microsoft Outlook for email on her PC. How can she copy her email box to provide it to me for privilege review prior to producing the documents to the other side...

She doesn't want to ship the whole computer to me, and she doesn't have the time to print the thousands of emails and attachments. What can we do?"

Delete it and MEAN IT!

Unlike Windows' Recycle Bin, Eraser 2002 enables you to permanently wipe your files beyond recovery. Eraser 2002 integrates with Windows so you can erase files from within Explorer, or drag-and-drop items you want to remove onto the Eraser 2002 icon.

The program comes in three versions, with Eraser 2002 Professional offering the highest level of privacy protection, exceeding the DOD-5220 U.S. Department of Defense standard, and making it impossible for recovery tools to recover your data. You can define your own wipe methods, erase e-mails, entire folder structures, and entire drives, destroy data from previously deleted files, verify each wipe pass to avoid errors, and more. Eraser 2002 Professional works with all flavors of Windows and sells for $39.95; versions with fewer features are also available for $19.95 and $29.95.

Summation Tip of the Month

Did you know that you can total financial data in Summation?

The totals are displayed in the column heading and are refreshed each time you add or modify the column data. In addition, when you print your summaries in column display, the total is displayed at the bottom of the column. The total displayed is the sum of the column data for the active set of summaries.
